Dash, and our parent company Bright, believe we have a moral obligation to take account of the impact of our activities on the environment, the communities we're a part of, and the local, national and global economy.
We look to make a positive contribution to the world we're a part of us and reduce to a minimum any negative effects our activities may have.

Our commitment to the environment 🌳
We fully recognise we're in a climate crisis. We take environmental issues and sustainability seriously, and consider environmental impacts when making everyday business decisions. We ensure we comply with all European and UK law applicable and keep abreast with changes in legislation. We also record and offset all of the carbon we produce.
Our parent company, Bright, has an Environmental Policy. We record and offset all of the carbon we produce and are accredited by Carbon Neutral Britain.
Working with partners and customers 🤝
Dash commits to providing value for money and high-quality service for our customers, making prompt payment to our suppliers, and will never offer or accept inducements to further our business.
We don’t accept customers from the following industries which we deem incompatible with our business ethics:
- Cause, enable or promote violence. Examples: Armies, arms manufacturers. Exceptions: Regulated contact sports.
- Knowingly cause physical harm to humans. Examples: Tobacco industry. Exceptions: Regulated contact sports, alcoholic drinks industry, food industry.
- Produce or promote pornographic content.
- Are a major contributor to, or denier of, climate change.
- Engage in or promote hate speech according to the United Nations definition: “[Hate speech is] any kind of communication in speech, writing or behaviour, that attacks or uses pejorative or discriminatory language with reference to a person or a group on the basis of who they are, in other words, based on their religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, colour, descent, gender or other identity factor.”
Our terms and conditions further prohibit users from using Dash to store and share content that:
- Promotes and/or glorifies violence against humans or animals
- Is graphic or explicit in nature
- Is fraudulent or liable to cause harm through deception
- Is hateful according to the United Nations ‘hate speech’ definition outlined above
- Encourages or promotes extremist politics and/or acts of terrorism

How we award contracts 💼
The awarding of contracts will be made only on the basis of their value for money, quality, ability to deliver the product/service required and taking account of the business ethics and corporate values of the business tendering for the contract.
All contracts must be arranged through our standard procurement process and authorised in writing by a Director. We vet all suppliers rigorously, ensuring they comply with our business's strict data security and compliance policies.

We have a company-wide anti-bribery policy. We adhere to the UK's Bribery Act 2010 which came into force on 1st July 2011.
